Ladies!Come and Join us at the Penrith City Women's Bowling Club. Make new Friends and have fun! There's no age barrier, you're never too young you’re never too old to laugh and have fun with the game of Lawn Bowls. Our main play day is Tuesday, so come on give it a try! You never, never know until you give it a go! Some people believe bowls is something only to be considered once retired. Others have perceptions of the sport which are actually not true – we no longer have to wear whites and hats at all times! Bowls is increasingly popular among the young, is highly skilful, sociable, aesthetically pleasing and easy to learn. Coaching is also available by our resident club coaches. You are most welcome to pop in to the club where members will gladly answer any queries. The Women’s Club bowls weekly at 9.00am Tuesday mornings and also runs the Club's social mixed pairs weekly on a Thursday morning at 9:00am. | The Penrith City Women’s Bowling Club continues to support the community by having a charity day that supports local charities in need. The Club also puts on a big morning tea with proceeds going to cancer research. These are just some of the ways the Club contributes to charities in the local area. The Club has annual Major championships, along with Minor championships. It is a very friendly club welcoming bowlers of all ages and experiences to continue the Club's proud tradition. Our club has a huge range of players from those who casually roll-up, those who play in friendly matches through to ones competing at higher level and in state finals. This is a warm and welcome home to all. ‘Come, let the good times roll’ |
Penrith Bowling and Recreation Club have a strong commitment to the game of lawn bowls for juniors, this includes our active involvement in the school bowls program. A product of our junior program includes the current NSW Representative & 2017 State Pairs Champion, Carl Healey. | Free coaching is available every Saturday morning from 9am for interested bowlers ages 12 and up. For any further information, please contact the Bowls Secretary, Chris Gillespie on 4721 2515. |
